Thank you for using SecureRoomz!

SecureRoomz enables private, invite-only collaboration and document exchange for professional and organizational use. Because the platform is designed for handling confidential information, we expect every user to act with discretion, respect, and compliance with all applicable laws and organizational policies.

By using SecureRoomz ("Services"), you agree not to misuse the Services or help anyone else do so. The examples below describe prohibited behavior but are not an exhaustive list.

Responsible Room Use

You are responsible for how you use and share information within SecureRoomz.

  • Do not download, share, or redistribute files or data outside the platform unless the room organizer explicitly allows it.
  • Do not invite users who are not authorized to view room content.
  • Do not impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity in any room.
  • Do not use SecureRoomz to harass, intimidate, or mislead others through messages, file names, or annotations.

SecureRoomz System Admins (employees of SecureRoomz) may access certain metadata or logs only when responding to a verified support ticket or to maintain system integrity.

Security and Platform Integrity

You must not attempt to do any of the following in connection with the Services:

  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network;
  • Breach or circumvent security or authentication measures;
  • Access or use non-public areas of the Services, or shared areas you were not invited to;
  • Upload malicious code, exploits, or documents containing embedded malware or phishing capabilities;
  • Interfere with or disrupt any user, host, or network, such as by sending a virus, overloading, flooding, or spamming;
  • Circumvent storage limits or file validation mechanisms;
  • Access, search, or create accounts for the Services by automated or unauthorized means (for example, "scraping" or bulk account creation);
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise use SecureRoomz as part of another service without written authorization.

Content Restrictions

You must not use the Services to:

  • Publish or share materials that are unlawfully pornographic, indecent, or that promote or depict extreme violence or terrorist activity;
  • Advocate bigotry, hatred, or discrimination against any person or group based on their race, religion, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, impairment, or political beliefs;
  • Violate any law, including storing, publishing, or sharing material that is fraudulent, defamatory, or misleading;
  • Violate privacy or infringe on the rights of others;
  • Upload, store, or distribute personal, financial, or medical data (including PCI, PHI, or PII) without proper authorization or consent.

SecureRoomz does not control what users upload to their rooms. Users and organizations are fully responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws and for managing any sensitive or regulated data they choose to store on the platform.

Enforcement and Responsibility

SecureRoomz may investigate violations of this policy and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of access as outlined in the Terms of Service. SecureRoomz may also report illegal activity to relevant authorities when required by law.

SecureRoomz bears no responsibility for how users or invitees distribute or handle files downloaded from the platform.
